Interns at King's
Our vision for our intern programme is to disciple, train and equip people with the necessary skills and experience to pursue a career in a specific industry.
You will give a year of your life to serving God in a specific area at King's while growing in character and industry specific skills.
We will encourage some applicants to apply for the Relational Mission training program 'Lead'. Please note that acceptance onto this training program is not controlled by King's.
We are offering the following intern opportunities:
If you are a designer, videographer, photographer, web designer or any other creative then this internship is for you.
This incredibly exciting internship is perfect for anyone wanting to gain experience in the creative industry prior to exploring work in that field.
You’ll get firsthand experience working as part of the creative team on real live projects. You won’t be here to just stand in the shadows and watch. After a year you’ll be amazed at how much you accomplished and the experience you gained. We believe the training you’ll receive will be well worth the investment of your time, energy, and passion.
Do you have a passion to work with those who are vulnerable or in need? Would you like the opportunity to work within King's teams that are delivering important support to many within the community? Would you benefit from learning about running projects and teams that have a community focus?
We are offering the opportunity for anyone interested in these areas to work with the King’s Community Engagement Lead across all the community projects run at King's. This post is ideal for those who are looking to progress into community engagement or social services type work with some experienced gained in running events.
You will have a primary focus of work within King's Care - our work with those who are homeless or in need of support. This will involve liaising with other similar services across the city and supporting the delivery of King's Care. There will also be opportunity to spend time with the King's Money Advice Team and possible involvement in developing our work with refugees arriving in Norwich.
Do I need to be a member of King's Community Church?
We would love to encourage applications from all around the world but during the intern year you will need to be located in Norwich and be a part of King's. If you're open to moving home for this intern then Norwich is a brilliant city to live in!
